Language

Day 1: Cacao & Chocolate Farm Tour, La Fortuna

  • Don Juan Tour — Head to Don Juan, just outside of downtown La Fortuna, to walk through a coffee and chocolate plantation. You will learn about the coffee and chocolate production process with lots of tastes, smells and maybe some animal sightings! Excellent gift shop.

Day 2: Wildlife Exploration

  • Sloth Tour — Book a sloth tour first thing in the morning, like 5:45 AM early. You will drive through neighborhoods and areas frequented by sloth, while your sets up a spotting scope. You can attach your iphone to the scope, making this a friendly activity even for the youngest wildlife lovers. Finish your tour with breakfast.

Day 3: Adventure!

  • Mistico Hanging Bridges — Head to the hanging bridges for a day of hiking, wildlife and adventure. You can also zipline here. Pack lots of water, bug spray and your camera.

Day 4: Transport to Manuel Antonio

  • Transport to Manuel Antonio — This will take basically all day. You can stop at the Crocodile Bridge about mid-way and get some lunch nearby. Be sure to take anti-nausea meds for the drive.

Day 5: Manuel Antonio National Park

  • Guided Tour - Manuel Antonio National Park — Take a guided tour with entrance fees to Manuel Antonio. You will spot sloths, monkeys, and lots of birds. Bring your swimsuit for some beach time afterwards.
